Passport Photo Studio Privacy Policy

App: Passport Photo Studio (Android package com.aps.passportphoto) · Developer: Anas Khan · Last updated: 6 November 2026

Passport Photo Studio turns a photo from your gallery into a print-ready passport or ID photo: it aligns the face, adjusts brightness and colour, removes the background, adds an optional caption strip and lays the photos out on a 300 DPI page you can export as JPG or PDF. There is no account, no sign-up and no server of ours that stores your photos. This policy explains what the app handles and what it does not.

Data we collect

None. We don't collect, store, transmit or sell any personal information. The app has no analytics of its own, no advertising SDK and no tracking.

Your photos

On-device machine learning

Face detection and subject segmentation use Google ML Kit, which runs entirely on your device. The segmentation model is downloaded once through Google Play Services the first time you use background removal and works offline afterwards. Your photos are not sent to Google or to us for this processing.

Advertising and tracking

The app contains no ads, no advertising ID use, no third-party analytics and no profiling. It does not share data with anyone.

Permissions

The app asks only for the photo you choose through the system photo picker, plus the ability to save the files you export. It does not request contacts, microphone, precise location or access to your whole photo library.

Children

Passport Photo Studio is not directed at children under 13, and because no personal information is collected at all, there is nothing to expose.

Security

Because we hold no personal data, there is nothing of yours on our side to breach. Anything the app stores lives on your own device, inside Android's app sandbox.

Changes to this policy
